I love wearing Coloured Eyeliners/Khols/Kajals in my day to day wear. I have so many Eye Pencils in Green and Blue already and I was eyeing to tryout some new shades. I have one Brown Eye Pencil too (from KAT VON D)but Bourjois Paris Khol and Contour Eye Pencil Bronze Raffine 79 is a different Brown.I found it really different shadewise as compared to cult brown Eye Pencils so resorted to buy this!! So today in this post

I am going to share my experience with this Khol plus swatch,EOTD and FOTD!!

1.PACKAGING: Bourjois Paris 16 HR Khol and Contour Eye Pencils looks like our  School Stationary pencil. Instead of lead, there is MakeUp /Khol . There is a lid to cover the Khol tip.This keeps the tip bacteria,lint and dust free. It requires sharpening before use leading to wastage of the product.There is no sharpener along with the pencil.This is the drawback with this packaging as it requires sharpening before use.A Sleek sharpener beneath the lid or on other end could have made the packaging more useful.However pencil sharpens up smoothly without leaving any edgy or sharp wood flakes!!

2.SHADE:Bourjois Paris Khol and Contour Eye Pencil Bronze Raffine 79  is beautiful Dark Olive shade with Brown Undertones.The Shade is gorgeous and without any shimmer or Glitter.It  complements Brown / Hazel Eyes.It can be used to add Bronze/Olive accents to Black Smokey Eyes!!

3.TEXTURE: It has Soft,Smooth,Easy to apply texture.Though It is not buttery smooth But on Upside this makes it least prone to smudges.Again since it is Khol Preparation It smudges a little.It is Vit E enriched which is good for Under Eye Area.

4.FINISH:It gives decently pigmented finish in one single stroke.However to get full color pay off I use it more than once.It can be applied both in the Inner and Outer rim of Eyes.It has never produced any irritation or redness in my eyes even when I used it on my waterline.But The Texture is too hard for my waterline.It is not waterproof or tear resistant formula as such.

5.LONGEVITY:It stays on my lids without fading for up to 8 hours.My tear ducts are not very active either. Gradually by the end of the day it fades leaving my under eye are coloured. It is not the perfect Office hours Khol but close to perfect!!However claim of 16 hrs is far fetched!!

VANILLA RATINGS 7/10

Bourjois Paris Khol and Contour Eye Pencil Bronze Raffine 79   is beautiful Deep Olive Shade with Brownish undertones Khol that can be safely used both in Waterline and Lashline. But on my Waterline It turned out bit hard!! The stay of the product is remarkable for a Khol but Packaging can be improvised with a sleek sharpener.It doesn’t give rich pigmented color pay off on one single swipe!!

♥I recommend this to Beauties who love to sport Colour Eyeliners as this is one of the beautiful Deep Olive Shade with Brownish undertones which is affordable.It has pretty decent stay and will add versatility to your Eyeliner/Kajal Collection.But if you already have good Olive/Brown Eye pencil you can safely miss this!!
