It is a very pretty Red shade with Orangish Undertones.Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm Striking will look flattering on all skin tones particularly fair to medium skin complexions. Because of orange undertones some may find it too bold and flashy!!

2.TEXTURE:It is very light weight  formula and is balm like in texture. It glides on lips as smoothly as a balm despite being claimed as matte balm. It is hydrating on lips like a balm and does not dry out lips considering its matte finish.It has slight mint fragrance and on lips it gives minty freshness.

3.FINISH/PIGMENTATION: Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm Striking doesn’t give complete opacity on single swipe. I reapply it several times to get desired pigmentation. But the formula is buildable.Despite repeated application, It doesn’t feel heavy on lips.

It settles down on lips giving Semi Matte finish. Because of the balmy texture ,It doesn’t even give a feel of having something on lips. It doesn’t budges or feathers and gives a perfect pout.

4.LONGEVITY:It stayed on my lips decently for 6 hours. It passed my four hour and meal test too!!It survived a coffee and a meal without losing much pigmentation.

5.PACKAGING:Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm Striking is packaged as Retractable chubby  crayon housed in a pen like packaging. It looks like a Jumbo Art Pen. Packaging itself iindicates the shade of the lipstick inside.(Red in this case).I loved the retractable Crayon packaging.

Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm Striking is a beautiful Red shade Lipstick,Has Balm like texture and gives hassle free Semi matte finish with decent stay on lips. But If you are looking for Hardcore Matte Red Lipstick then It is not.Though the formula is buildabe but I did not like swiping again and again to get desired pigmentation.
