I was working out with foundation from last few days to create some helpful affordable look for my blog . I somehow felt the need to Review the foundation first rather than putting up an FOTD because of certain Limitations the product has!!.So here is

Shahnaz Husain Saffron enriched Matte Mousse Foundation provides a pure matte look with complete coverage to conceal pores and the lines giving the skin the flawless look. Containing Precious Botanical extracts of Saffron,Sandalwood,Rose,Dates and Aloe Vera Juice.It imparts Immaculate glow,tones the Skin and leaves it soft and moisturised with a porcelain look.

1.PACKAGING:Shahnaz Husain Matte Mousse Foundation is packaged in Small,White Sturdy Plastic Bottle with pump dispensing mechanism.Nozzle is covered with Transparent Plastic lid making the packaging more hygienic.Being a Pump Dispenser,Its easy to measure amount of foundation You need for Day to Day use.

2.TEXTURE: Shahnaz Husain Saffron Enriched Matte Mousse Foundation is claimed to be Mousse Foundation but it is Thick, Creamy ,Granular in Texture and Blendable on Skin surface.Formula spreads easily on My moisturised skin with my Real Technique Foundation Brush or Fingers.It has mild fragrance of sandalwood and roses very similar to Shabase.Product is claimed to have herbal properties of Saffron,Aloe vera,Sandalwood,Rose water and Vit E. Make-Up that has Skincare benefits is always beneficial.

3.SHADE:As Foundation base I Expected it to be Available in at least Three different Shades but This is available in just One Single shade. This particular foundation will suit NC 30-35 Skin complexions with Pink undertones.So will not suit most of Indian skin complexions. This is the biggest drawback of this foundation.

4.FINISH:It spreads easily giving Medium coverage and Matte finish on my face.Foundation has prominent Pink undertones which goes totally against my yellow undertones. It has tendency to leave offensive white cast on my NC 41 Skin which is more prominent on my Forehead which is bit more tan than rest of my face. White cast doesn’t settle down with time which is totally Unlike when I swatched the foundation on my arm there was no white cast and it went perfect with my skin in showroom lighting.

My skin is very dry and actually I did not feel the need to powder my face but still to enhance the longevity of wear I lightly dusted it with my pressed powder(slightly darker than My skintone to settle white cast). It doesn’t turn oily on my skin after Day wear.Formula has palpable granules of Saffron which melt  on surface of Skin with warmth of fingers/Skin.On my skin It feels like putting up Liquid Shabase.

5.DEMO:In the demo pic below,White cast is very much visible after I applied the foundation.

6.PRICE:415 INR For 50ml

I bought this foundation to have some Ayurvedic ,Natural foundation for my day to day use and Blog/Video tutorials.It is loaded with Skincare benefits from Natural Herbal Ingredients of Rose Water,Aloe Vera,Sandalwood and Saffron.But on my NC 41 skin it looks at least Two shades lighter.It will only suit NC30 to NC 35 Skintones with Pink undertones.Limited shade range is biggest downside of the Product.I don’t see it as a good foundation for Combination to Dry Skin either.

♥If you are Fair skin with Oily skin,Ayurvedic Products Freak then this is Good Herbal option to try on otherwise The Foundation can be easily skipped.
