My Journey to Origins 10 Minute Mask

Origins is a well known Brand in Beauty world known for its effective Skincare. Years back I was introduced to this brand in Selfridges,London when I was on shopping Spree by my Hubby who already lived in UK for some part of his life before We met. I ended up buying Papaya scrub then which I think is discontinued now.

Anyhow My skin was oily then but over time It has changed in texture to Combination/ Dry. But due to some Hormonal Surge in last trimester of my pregnancy I started breaking out along my Jawline Despite best dietary management. I wanted to try something more Natural and Effective. After lot of research, I Finally laid down my hands on Origins Out of Trouble 10 Minute Mask to Rescue Problem Skin.

Origins Out of Trouble 10 Minute Mask to Rescue Problem Skin is widely acclaimed by Beauty Bloggers and Vloggers all over the world. I am using this mask twice a week since last one and a half month.

Main Ingredient of the mask is

Camphor: This highly aromatic herb has been prized for its purifying and preservative powers. It is also a counter-irritant and skin purifier.

It also has Zinc oxide which is well known for its oil absorbing properties and is active ingredient of Fullers Earth/Multani Mitti too. It also has menthol which has cooling properties best for inflamed /rash prone skin.It is free of Sulfates,Phthalates and Parabens.

Mask is packaged in white squeeze tube with a flip off lid. Packaging embarks on Rescue claim being white in colour with green accents. Mask has clay like consistency white in color and slightly granular.It spreads easily on my clean skin without getting sticky.I find it as a perfect day to day mask as it is a 10 minute mask. I don’t have to actually wait for the weekend to pamper my skin.I comfortably introduced it in my weekdays skincare.

On application,It smells Camphor!! Fragrance is Intense.This strong fragrance can be bothersome for many.Camphor evaporates fast at room temperature but it doesn’t burn my eyes or make them itch as I dreaded it can when I applied it first.

It is a 10 minute mask so mask actually doesn’t dry up completely. That was so gratifying for my otherwise dry skin. after 10 minutes I rinse off the mask with normal water to reveal Cleaner and Brighter Looking skin.It rinse off easily without leaving any stick residue or obstinate white remnants.

VANILLA RATINGS 8.5/10

After Using it Twice Daily for Four weeks, I found it as a good soothing mask for Acne prone skin and other oily skin issues. It definitely enhances the process of Acne healing and relieves the Hot,Angry looking Volcanic skin eruptions on my face.

However It is not very effective in sloughing off the dead skin of already existing blemishes on my skin. My skin definitely felt more clean and bright after every use. It is free of Parabens,sulphates and phthalates which are known skin irritants which is another USP of this product.

It is pricey no doubt but small amount of the product goes long way.I am half way through the product and it has given me close to 10 decent applications till now. I think I will be able to squeeze 8 more out of it. Some of you may find strong fragrance of Camphor disagreeable!!Again availability of Origins in India is another hassle!! Also, I would like to add that there are loads of acne treatments available that can be used to reduce the blemishes and the chances of it returning. Some of my friends have tried using CBD for acne treatment, from places like Cope CBD as CBD is often used as an anti-inflammatory for other illnesses. Whatever treatment you choose do your research and hopefully, you’ll have clearer skin in no time!
