In today’s Thrifty Thursday Post I am going to share my experience with Indian Drugstore Brand Elle 18.This is for the first time I have tried products from this brand.I bought this Combo kit from Nykaa.com.It is being marketed as Travel essentials Kit.I tried working out with this two different FOTD’s using Lipstick and Lip Balm.So here in this post today

Elle 18 Combo Kit Set of 4  has Four Makeup products from the brand.All the four products come packed in Beige coloured ,Relaxyl but Leather look, Decent sized Cosmetic pouch.This idea of putting makeup in pouch is really good.But Beige colour is looks bit dull when Elle products themselves are packaged so tastefully.

Why I Bought This?

I am new to this brand.I thought That “Self Curated ” means that somebody has done part of my job.Also I wanted to try Elle 18 Glow Foundation since long.Seeing the Bunch of other products and that too for just two hundred something lured me.

My Experience

I got Elle 18 Glow Foundation in Coral and Glow Compact in Pearl.Somehow combination of Coral foundation and Pearl powder worked well for my skin complexion.But I felt that if same shades should have been added so that everybody should be able to pick kit as per their own skin tone.

Again Cinnamon bun is Caramel brown lipstick whereas Juicy mauve has prominent purple tones.Individually they look good and I like both shades but idea of curated kit is lost as neither lipstick and gloss are  in sync nor foundation and powder.

However I have tried all the products individually and they are pretty decent in quality considering the price.I would have loved if the products should have been synchronised to cater the needs of a particular complexion.Also I missed an Eyeliner/Kajal in this kit. I ended up using my Maybelline colossal Kajal to complete FOTD’s.

I loved the whole Idea of Self curated Makeup Kits. I  am really impressed with quality of Elle 18 products for the Price.Individually all the products are fairly decent. I Would have loved this kit more with an Eyeliner or Kajal,Synchronised Base Makeup and Bit stylish pouch.

 Elle 18 Combo Kit can be a great purchase for Beauties on Budget.Pouch is spacious enough so a blush or Eyeliner with a perfume mist of your choice can find way.It is a must check out!!
