Honestly I am not a huge fan of Waterproof Mascaras.I have Thin scanty Lash line and harsh formulas that are used to create Waterproof Mascara scares me of losing my lashes.But with summers approaching I was really keen to have at least one waterproof mascara in my vanity to avoid Sweat -Flow accidents.So I hit one of the L’oreal counters I was really enticed by the packaging and the name Butterfly Mascara.I believe this is the story of all girls with thin lash line,moment you see a new launch Mascara you wonder may this is that “Magical one”.Today’s post

L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Waterproof Butterfly Mascara also known as Faux Cils Papillon Waterproof Mascara comes packaged in Metallic Silver Tube with Blue Accents.While opening up the mascara You can actually feel the squeeze on the brush towards the end.That is probably due to deliberate narrowing of the tube to shed off excess mascara laid on Brush.This  minimises chances of smearing the product while applying.It is easy to grasp wand considering the size and shape of the lid. There are two different curves in which bristles are placed .The bristles are placed on either side of wand shaped up as a wing(Upper wing) of butterfly.There are no fine bristles within the main bristle.

It is easy to aply the mascara with the wand.Butterfly mascara is jet Black in colour and has a texture which is neither very runny nor very creamy.It dries fast after application so chances of smearing on flickering are very meek.The formula lenghthens my Eyelashes more than it adds volume.Comb like bristles of the brush wipes out the excess product making it clump free and layerable.I have not seen any clumping despite multiple swipes.

Curve 1 (inverted C) of the wand curls manage to give effective curl to my lashes and formula holds the curl almost throughout the wear(8+ Hours).Curve 2(Tapered) helps catch holding baby Eyelashes and Lashes in the corners of eyes.This mascara doesn’t flake after 7 hours of Wear.As claimed by the brand it is completely waterproof.It actually did not come out after I rinsed my face with daily cleanser.However It gets easily removed with The BodyShop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter over Vichy 3 in 1 Purete Thermale Calming Cleansing Micellaire  Water.I have never felt any Itch or stinging Using this mascara

L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Waterproof Butterfly Mascara  is good Waterproof mascara that works effectively in lengthening the lashes without clumping and flaking.The two different curves of bristles on the pattern of wing of a butterfly curls and catch hold baby hairs effectively.But it is expensive and I don’t see it adding much volume to my lashes.
