A while back I updated on my Forest Essentials Haul which was actually a romantic pamper by Hubby.I have never tried any Forest Essentials Product before on my own but Forest Essentials Rose and Geranium Cold pressed Massage oil/ Rose Lip Balm sent to me by one of my Youtube Channel Subscriber. I spoke to my husband randomly once about How much I am eager to check out this brand!! As I was not going out enough in last month of my pregnancy,He came home one day in evening carrying this Recycle Brown Paper Bag with Forest Essentials Insignia. He just handed it over to me casually and I was  like What?? It was totally unlike of him so I was Surprised,Thrilled,Happy and Excited!! Forest Essentials Rupam Extra Rich Facial Cleansing Paste is Cleanser cum exfoliation paste packed inside Thick Glass Jars with a Golden Screw Lid to operate the packaging.There is small white plastic tumbler within the main glass jar which actually contains the paste.Packaging looks luxe due to thick and good quality glass jar and Golden lid .But The quantity of the product is much less than what it looks (for the size of glass jar).

The SA on counter gave two wooden spoons along with to scoop out the product. I.The size of the spoon is such that I scoop out the right amount of the product required for one time cleansing of my face and neck. I clean the spoon after taking out the product to maintain the Hygiene .Using the spoon to take out the product instead of fingers reduces the chances of contamination of the paste.

Rupam is Oil Based moisturising Face Cleanser and Exfoliator.All the ingredients are well blended in uniform smooth paste which has soft,easy to spread texture and does not crumble.Rupam smells cardamoms with sweet undertones.

I use the Paste in Two ways:-

As Cleanser/Exfoliator: I spread the paste on gently Wet Face.I massage it on my face in regular circular motions for upto 5-7 minutes.I mostly concentrate on my nose and chin area where I tend to have black heads .The Exfoliating Granules are non abrasive on Skin.Finally I rinse it off with tepid temperature water.

Tip: If you have major Black heads then apply Hot water towel on your face for upto 3-5 minutes before exfoliation.It really works and helps Rupam to extract out the Black heads and White heads.

As Face Mask: At times a,I just apply the paste which is very easy to spread on dry face considering the oily base on my clean dry skin and let it sit for upto 10 minutes. I have dry skin and this paste has Jaggery,Sweet almond oil,Pistachio nut paste,Shea butter with Ketki pushp(Kewada,Screw Pine) known for their moisturising and hydrating properties.The paste doesn’t dry up  on face with a stretch as such.I just wash it off with gentle Circular massaging motions .Rupam Paste has Kaolin Clay which is known for its pore reducing and skin smoothening properties.

I use Rupam every alternate day.It has made my Skin surface smooth and baby soft.Orange peel is age old ingredient of Natural Skin Bleaching or Whitening treatments.It rinses off easily without leaving behind Oily Film.It neither dries out my Skin nor it leaves dry flaky patches behind.

Allergic Caution: The product is claimed to be 100 % Natural.But natural products can be allergic too.So do a patch test with a sample form store before you go ahead buying full jar.

Forest Essentials Rupam Extra Rich Facial Cleansing Paste is mild,moisturising exfoliator cum cleanser with well chiselled abrasive granules.It is a must have Face Scrub for Dry skin beauties. Since it has oil base ,I am not very sure How well this will turn out on oily skin.It rinses off easily leaving behind Fresh,Soft, Smooth Skin.I have been using this since past few weeks.My Foundation actually spreads smoothly on my face .I love the fragrance of cardamoms.But the bulky jars make the packaging bit heavy to travel with.Also It is very Expensive.The product being Natural has shelf life of just 6 months!!
