I am going to review this palette which I received as a Gift from my Aunt who is huge fan of Lancome.In India we don’t have Lancome everywhere,Atleast not in chandigarh here but my aunt who lives abroad comes pack full of Lancome goodies for all the women in house.This palette came as apart of GWP with certain purchase she did for me!I am not sure if this palette is still available or not but I decided to do  a swatch post with some looks because Lancome Mono Eyeshadows are part of their permanent collection.And I am lot impressed with the quality of the Eyeshadows and Blush.Here is the review for you!!

Lancome Color Design Eye and Face Palette is sleek rectangular,Flip open Palette with clear mirror on the lid side while the base house 6 popular Lancome Eyeshadows and a single Neutral Blush.Shadow pots are small while the Blush pan is big. Sizing is done quite smartly considering the size of the brushes/tools required to apply the makeup.Overall packaging is sleek,sturdy and travel friendly.

Top Row(L-R)

1.Center Stage: is pretty Yellow Gold Shimmer Eye shadow.Shimmer is finely Milled and enhances the radiant Gold finish of the Eye shadow.

2.Glamorize: is lovely Peacock Blue Shimmer Eye shadow.Shimmer is fine and of same peacock Blue color.This Eye shadow is very much similar Revlon Shadow Links Eye shadow in Peacock.

3.Pose: is Gorgeous Bronze Eyeshadow with metallic Finish.It is one of my favorite Eye shadow from my Lancome Eye shadow collection.

Bottom Row(L-R)

1.Model:is metallic Copper Eye shadow , Again a pretty shade for Indian Complexions.it is something like MAC Coppering and looks lovely when worn on its own itself.

2.24 Karat: is metallic Burnished Gold Eye shadow which is a Must have Eye shadow from Lancome Considering  Indian Skin tones and Indian Festivities.It has fine Golden Iridescence which adds to the metallic gold sheen of the Eye shadow.Reminds me Of MAC Goldmine Eye shadow.

3.Vintage: is matte Finish Deep Coffee Brown Eye Shadow to be used as a Crease colour.

All the Lancome Eye Shadows(Model,Pose,Vintage,24 Karat,Glamorize and Center stage) have decent pigmentation and have smooth blendable texture. They are soft in texture but not chalky and there is bare minimal fall out with these Eye Shadows.Though they are supposed to show up well on lids on their own and stay throughout the day but on my lids they show up really well with a primer underneath. Again with a primer the Eye Shadows last throughout the day without any creasing or fading.

24 Karat can be improvised further for better pigmentation and Glamorize for better texture.

Lancome Blush Subtil Cappucine Delicate Oil Free Powder Blush

Lancome Blush Subtil Cappucine is Gorgeous Earthy peach Blush which reminds me of Maybelline Cheeky Blush Creamy Cinnamon.The Blush shade itself  and shimmer free formula makes it a perfect blush for Day wear/Office wear.Blush has decent pigmentation and brush swirled twice in pan gives adequate Pigmentation on my NC 42 Complexion.It stays on me for good 4+ hours without accentuating the appearance of pores on my skin.It is a powder blush with oil controlling properties,Thereby making it a great blush for Oily skin but it has never led to any Dryness stretch on my Combination to Dry skin.This particular blush will show up on Fair to Medium skin complexions only.

PRICE:20 USD for Mono Eyeshadow/32 USD for Blush subtil( These are not available in India as per Lancome India website.I am not sure if they have them in stores. They are available on ebay but I cannot give the name of secure seller here as I got them as gift.)

VANILLA RATINGS 7/10

Lancome Color Design Eye and Face Palette is keen assemblage of Warm neutral Eyeshadows of varied Textures.Quality of the Eyeshadows is as good as MAC Eyeshadows  Glamorize and 24 karat has scope of improvement but still I will not take it against the palette or Eyeshadows individually.I really love Lancome GWP palettes as such.Despite everything great about the Product ,Due to lack of availability online and in stores I have deducted two points.Though I rarely use sponge applicators provided with palettes but since it is a travel kit I wish it to have one.No Doubt These are Expensive!!

♥Lancome Color Design Sensational Eyeshadows in Pose,Model,Center stage and Vintage are beautiful colours and must haves in case you have access to them.Cappucine is the Loveliest Matte Neutral Warm Peach Blush,Again a great Blush for No Makeup/Natural looking  Makeup lovers.
