Maybelline Dream Satin Silk Liquid Foundation is packaged in a glass bottle (30ml)with a Pump Mechanism and a Plastic transparent lid to cover the pump.Foundation with Pump dispensers are always useful as the amount of foundation required for application can be finally titrated to individual needs.It also reduces the chances of  bacterial contamination and is a great hygienic option.

Maybelline Dream Satin Silk Liquid Foundation B5 or Nude is the darkest of all the shades launched in India.It is perfect for my NC 41 Skin.Other shades are way too pale for most of the Indian Skin complexions.This is the biggest downside of this launch as the shades launched will not cater o majority of Indian skin tones.

Maybelline Dream Satin Silk Liquid Foundation is Liquid(not as thick as the Maybelline Dream Mousse Foundation)in texture and is without any shimmers.It doesn’t have any fragrance in particular.Texture is satin smooth and easy to blend on my Well moisturised but otherwise Dry Skin.

This Foundation Medium coverage on my Skin.It manages to conceal minor skin blemishes,Reddish Skin around my nose and gives uniform Skin complexion without looking patchy.As claimed by Maybelline,It definitely minimise the appearance of pores on my skin and Gives a Very dewy Finish.It is a great Formula for Dry Skin Beauties .Foundation is buildable and can be layered for more coverage without looking cakey.

I applied the foundation both with Foundation Brush and Beauty Blender and the texture is equally workable with both the tools.But I loved the dewy finish and enhanced coverage I got wearing this foundation with Beauty Blender.I have dry skin so tried wearing it just as such(without powdering).The foundation lasted on me without powder for about 6 hours/8+ hours with powder in Air-conditioned atmosphere.

However in Northern Plains Heat,It melted moment I stepped out in the sun ,almost immediately and transferred everywhere.When I wore TBS Tea tree pore minimiser,Smashbox photo finish primer underneath and topped the foundation with The Body Shop Extra Virgin Minerals Loose Powder ,The foundation survived the scorching Sun heat for about 45 minutes(driving in the car,walking past the parking alley) in noon hours.

Maybelline Dream Satin Silk Liquid Foundation is Nicely packaged Foundation with a satin smooth blendable Texture.It gives Natural looking,Poreless,Flawless Dewy Finish.Overall great foundation for Dry Skin/Combination Skin.It is Good Quality Foundation still at Affordable Price.Because of Air Whipped Consistency Little amount of foundation is enough for one time use.But not very impressed with the shade card launched in India.As Girls with complexions deeper than NC 41 will not have a shade to choose from.
