It’s Saturday !!  Wish you all amazing weekend. I am going through Strange “Skin thing” these days. I have developed small , barely visible, granular eruptions on my lower jaw line. On touching my face skin feels rough and this is failing to disappear despite my level best skincare. I had this small sample of Clinique Clarifying toner 2 which I picked up from Airport Duty free some time back. I started using it as My Exfoliating Daily toner in my night time care. I am going to share my experience with this Exfoliating toner for Dry Combination Skin

But Before that I will like to share some information on Clinique Skincare. Clinique has relied on three basic steps of Skincare i.e Cleansing, Toning and Moisturizing. They have divided the skin into four categories of Very Dry, Dry Combination, Oily Combination and Oily Acne prone Skin. All three products required for Daily CTM are different catering to needs of Four different types of skin. They are color coded and Number coded as well.

1. Clarifying Lotion 1 /Green- Very Dry Skin
2. Clarifying Lotion 2 /Purple-Combination Dry Skin
3. Clarifying Lotion 3/ Pink – Combination Oily Skin

Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2 is Clear, Transparent ,Oil Free Liquid that is housed in Translucent Purple colored Plastic Bottle which looks like a frosted Glass bottle. Bottle has opening which is not guarded by any hole-in-plastic stopper. Bottle has green colored twist open lid. I have not encountered single episode of spillage. Packaging looks sturdy and attractive. On opening the Bottle, Liquid emanates strong fragrance of Nail Varnish probably due to Menthol or Witch Hazel.

I usually wet the Cotton pad by pressing it against the upside down bottle rather than pouring the liquid on it because of no Rubber Guard on bottle’s opening. Then I wipe off the cotton pad all over my face carefully avoiding my under eye area. I apply it all over my Face and Neck. It has alcohol which is known for its drying effects on skin but Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2 has never exaggerated Dry flakiness on my Dry Combination Skin. Rather My skin looks fresh and renewed.

I can visibly see lot of grime and dust on my freshly washed and cleansed face (Yes!!). It has never reacted or irritated my skin. I rather feels mild tingling especially along my jaw and loves it menthol induced cooling sensation. Besides this It has Glycerine which is known for its skin moisturizing properties. It is a natural humectant and maintains Healthy Water levels of Dry Skin. Witch Hazel is known for its Acne curing, Pore reducing and soothing sun damaged skin surface.

Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2 is one of the best Clarifying toner I ever used in my Life. I have never ever used a Lotion or toner that cleanse deeply with visible dust and grime on Cotton pad. It is the perfect blend of ingredients that Help healing respective skin problems while rejuvenating Skin along with. It preps up my Skin for further moisturization and helps in easy smooth application of My Make Up. I highly recommend trying out Clinique clarifying/exfoliating toners as per your skin type !!
