Today is Last Friday of September 2015!! I am watching Ranveer Singh and Parineeti chopra In Jigar ka tukda song on MTV Tunes over a cup of coffe!! I am so missing out my active workouts as hardly find time for myself for that Active Part of my life. I am just motivating myself to loose weight now as my Newborn daughter has completed seven months yesterday.Anyhow I have been to Clinique recently for the skincare stuff. I Bought a Holiday Kit with miniatures of Dry combination Skincare and Got this Miniature Mascara –Clinique High Impact Mascara  along with it. I had used this before also and got the same as sample with my shopping from Clinique in London. Clinique High Impact Mascara comes packaged in small (4ml) Black Plastic Tube container . I checked out 8ml packaging too in the store. The Brush ,Wand and Formula are same except the size and metallic silver finish of lid.Overal packaging is sturdy and travel safe. I liked the mini size version too which makes it easy to carry the mascara around in my purse for touch ups.

Clinique High Impact Mascara Black 01 is one of the Darkest Black Mascara I have ever used. Formula is light weight and has a creamy texture which is neither very runny nor very thick. Clinique High Impact Mascara has medium length wand which reduces Eye poking accidents considerably. The Brush of wand is laded with Densely packed Bristles which come laden with appropriate amount of the Liquid before every use. The size of the brush is appropriate for my thin eye lashes though but I feel more comfortable using it on my upper lash line.

How I use it?

Since the brush size is big ,I use this mascara mostly for my upper Lash line. I get good volume in just two applications. I let the Mascara to dry on my lids before going further for second application. While applying mascara , I keep on wiggling the wand brush(Small sideway strokes) to keep my lashes separated and more defined.

It dries fast after application so gives almost Mess proof finish. The formula adds lot of volume to my Thin Eyelashes. It lengthens and add a beautiful curl which the formula holds for up to 6 hours . Formula does not form clumps. Once dipped, Brush will pick Formula enough for two applications. It does Flake as I have spotted black powder in my under eye region after couple of hours. However, My eyes do not feel tired by the end of the day. It has never led to any kind of sensitivity in my eyes. Though not claimed but The Mascara is sweat-proof and water resistant to some extent. I have been wearing it in my Evening walks recently and It hardly flows with sweat.

It gets easily removed with Maybelline Clean Express Total Clean Make Up Remover/ Neutrogena Oil Free Make Up Remover. It comes off easily as I leave the cotton pad soaked in Make-Up remover for a while on my Eyelashes.

I was not a Mascara Girl. But with Good Quality Mascaras especially with Gentle formulas for Sensitive Eyes, I cannot skip Mascara for my Everyday wear. Clinique High Impact Mascara is No Mess, User friendly Mascara which adds volume and length to tiniest of my Eyelash with no clumps. It do flakes after a while on me.It is one of the Blackest Mascara I have ever used .For great hypo-allergic formula and being very gentle to sensitive eyes and lens wearing girls It’s a must check out!! I am more interested to check out the Brown version of this now!!
