I am more of a Drugstore Mascara Lover. I have technically never invested in Good High end Mascaras. Once a friend told me she gets an eyelash lift and tint, then uses drugstore mascara to top up her look, I’ve never wanted to try high end mascara. I have recently reviewed Clinique High Impact Mascara which was part of Clinique’s Holiday Kit I primarily bought for Skincare. I really loved the texture of same . Somewhere in month of July , I got Estee Lauder Holiday Gift from a India Visiting friend. It had a travel sized Estee Lauder Sumptuous Mascara. I have used this mascara earlier also, I guess back in 2011/12. Somehow I completely forgot How much I loved using it back then. I was really Happy to rediscover my old favorite. I immediately checked with a friend in Delhi if she can gt me the full sized version. Yes I just got it and used it recently in Navy Blue Eyes Look. Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara is one of the most gorgeously packaged Mascara I have.Honestly I feel like Diva holding the Golden packaging in my hand.Full Size packaging is Golden Finish Tube with Navy Blue “EL”written in style. Travel size packaging has Navy blue container with Golden Lid and Prominent Golden accents.As far as the wand is concerned Length is of course smaller but the shape and length of Brush is almost same.

Estee Lauder Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara’s wand has bristles arranged in a Spiral.Each bristle is packed up with Dense Hairs.Brush is tapered towards the end which helps picking up baby hairs toward inner corners of my eyes.I absolutely adored the packaging and Wand brush which when applied never miss coating even a tiny weeny hair.

Formula is Rich Black in color with Light weight Mousse like consistency.Wand picks up enough formula required for single coat each on both the eyes.I usually end up smearing the Mouse Product on my lash Line.It makes my Lashes look dense without irritating tender waterlines.

It is claimed to be Volumizing , Lash multiplying and Lifting Mascara. As claimed It is Highly Volumizing Mascara without going heavy on my lashes.I can see that It effectively lengthens and multiply my Lashes also which can be attributed to three types of fibre forms in formula which are

1.Interlocking Fibres for adding Volume and length.

2.Ball Fibres for magnifying and multiplying lashes and fill the gaps within.

3.Hollow Fibres for Volumizing without weighing down my lashes.

When Applied ,Formula takes it own sweet time to settle down to Smudge proof Finish gradually. I have thin Baby Lash Line and I usually go for more than two coats.My cousin who has this same mascara, A single coat on her thick lashes adds a drama and creates false Lash effect.As the brush is tapered ,It catch hold of every single lash in corners of Eyes.

It does not Clump my lashes but create small spider Webs due to Fibre Forming formula which can be brushed out effectively. However It does not curl my lash enough as the brush is not bent or curved. So I make sure to use my Eyelash Curler and add some lift before applying this mascara. It is not waterproof and flows out. It flakes after 6 hours and I can see small black flakes in my under eye area. It gets easily removed by any good Makeup Remover.

It has vitamin lash conditioning formula which nourishes while adding glam to the Lash Line.It adds to Flutter Quotient of Eyelash. It does not Clump my lashes and adds volume without being heavy. It flakes after some time of wear. It is expensive and we have just Six locations for Estee lauder Stores in India.
