With all the drugstore brand rolling out their take on BB Cream, Fair and lovely India has jumped in the battlefield of BB/CC Creams too. I watched commercial of this New BB Cream featuring beautiful   Yami Gautam. I was really keen to check out this New Kid on Block. I would have given it a miss in routine but something in me prompted to check this out. I had a hope that this must be something different and new. Well! New Fair & Lovely BB cream is a revolutionary Fairness Cream that gives a Make-Up Finish. It combines the benefits of both Foundation & Fairness Cream.

Fair and Lovely BB Cream is packaged in plastic squeeze tubes with beautiful Beige, Rose Gold & Pink Accents. BB Cream is dispensed out through a Nozzle like opening on Squeezing which is guarded by white Twist open Lid. It is available in three different sizes..I opted for smaller 9 gm packaging since I wanted to check this out if it works on me before going for Full size Tube. Packaging is decent, sturdy and Travel safe.

Fair and Lovely BB Foundation + Fairness Cream is available in single shade. The shade is Pale Nude and will not suit most of the Indian Skin Complexions. This is the biggest downside of this product. It has Light weight, creamy texture. It spreads fairly well on my well moisturized face and Blends with some effort to give more Uniform Complexion. It has signature Fair and Lovely Fragrance (Typical of its Fairness Cream). I don’t find the fragrance Flattering but it’s not Bothering either. It Has SPF 15 . Any SPF in Creams and Make Up Is usually good for day to day wear as it protect skin from harmful sun rays.

As claimed Once applied, Fair and Lovely BB gives Instant fairness and uniform Complexion. Instant Fairness looks fake and Ghostly white on me in beginning though it settle down after sometime. It instantly mattifies my face and gives Oil Free Look. I cannot spot any oil on my Face for Up to 8 hours after using this Cream.(I have Combination to  Dry Skin). I feel the Dry stretch after applying this on my face which is very uncomfortable.(Despite Moisturizing). Also It is extremely important for Dry Skin Beauties to Moisturize their face Adequately before Putting this BB Cream.

On My Blemishes and Dark Spots It gives Light Coverage. Layering it twice for more coverage enhances the Dryness of My Already Dry Skin.

Despite Trying so many ways the BB Cream will not get absorbed in my Skin. I always feel it sitting superficial on my Skin. (It looks bit unnatural especially on my forehead and around my lips )

Fair and Lovely BB Cream, Though affordable and easily available has just one Single shade which will not suit most of the Indian Skin Complexions. It will not suit Dry/Normal Skin Beauties Either. You have to blend this cream really fast else it may accumulate or enhance Dry patches. It has parabens. It is a good summer option for BB Cream as it Mattify to core. If you have Oily skin or tends to sweat lot , It can be a good pick for you. (only if you fall in the only shade category available.)
