Being Punjabi , One of the rarest and special experience of my life is when I was in Nagpur Maharashtra in year 2000. I started with my M.B.B.S course from I.G.M.C Nagpur. My studies began around 17th August 2000 and I remember that within 15-20 days I got so fascinated by Marathi culture and lifestyle. I was high on new Food and culture ,when Ganeshji Aavahan day Arrived. It was my first experience and I was stunned by the madness in crowd this festival stirred up.
From that day till today, Ganpati ji and Ganesh Chaturthi is special day in mine and now my kids life too. My elder daughter will go lengths askin me questions on Ganpati ji and my experience in Nagpur Every year especially on this particular day.
