I am going to share on this another delight from Lakme Eyeconic Range. I have really scanty baby lashes. Mascara is staple of my Everyday Make Up routine. I was looking very light formula for regular wear. I am not much into waterproof mascara as they tend to harden up the lashes and I fear losing the already thin lash line.Anyhow here is the complete Review!!

Lakme Eyeconic Curling Mascara comes packaged in Black Plastic Tube with Turquoise Blue Accents signature of Lakme’s Eyeconic Range.While taking out the Mascara wand, the brush is squeezed and comes out laid with right amount of Mascara fluid. This minimizes chances of smearing accidents with product during application..It is easy to grasp wand considering the size and shape of the wand handle, thereby making it easy to apply the mascara.

Lakme Eyeconic Curling Mascara is Jet Black in color, light weight and has a Creamy texture which is neither very runny nor very thick. Lakme Eyeconic Mascara has long,easy to manouevre wand where the brush end is slightly bent. The J shaped/Curl brush is most innovative part of the packaging. Being curved it is easy to align the brush with curvature of eyelids Bristles are not densely packed.

How I use it?

• I start with my Upper lash and apply the mascara (with hollow of the bent upwards) underside of my lashes in gentle downward strokes.
• Then with Bent angle upwards I strengthen the Curl given by mascara in step 1. This step gives a raise to my eyelashes and opens up my eyes.
• Then I use the Tip of the brush to reach the inner corner baby hairs. I can do it so easily with Lakme Eyecomic Mascara as the curve of the brush aligns almost exact with curve of the lid.
• On to Lower Lash I apply the mascara (with hollow of the bent downwards) over my Lower Lash.

While applying the Mascara I keep on wiggling the brush in gentle L-R movements to avoid clumps. This also prevents Lashes sticking together.

It dries fast after application so chances of smearing on flickering are very bleak. The formula makes my eyelashes prominent and open up my eyes. I have not seen any clumping despite Layering Mascara. It does not lengthens or add volume but Blackens my lashes and add body to them. It adds a Curl to lash and the formula is strong enough to hold the curl for up to 4 hours. It does not Flake after some time. I have never spotted black powder in my under eye region even after hours of wearing it. My eyes do not feel tired by the end of the day. It has never led to any kind of sensitivity in my eyes.

However It gets easily removed with Maybelline Clean Express Total Clean Make Up Remover / Neutrogena Oil Free Make Up Remover. It comes off easily as I leave the cotton pad soaked in Make Up remove for a while on my Eyelashes.

Lakme Eyeconic Curling Mascara does what it says!! It says Curling, It curls like a dream.I find it extremely good mascara for Day to Day wear .It just makes my lashes prominent. My Eyes look awake and natural. Curled Wand lifts up my lashes and the formula hold the curl for fairly long time.It is Not Voluminous,Lenghthening or waterproof Mascara. I love using this in conjunction with my L’Oreal Butterfly Lash Mascara. It comes out easily with my Make Up Remover without breaking a lash.I will suggest using it with Eyelash curler for more prominent Lash curl. It is super affordable and easily available pan India.
