I am going  to share one of My Top favorite and Most used but least talked Lip Balm from The Body Shop i.e Born lippy Plum Lip balm. Off late I have fallen back to some of my Old Favorites in Make up and Skincare products. I have never shared much about them!! Neither on My youtube videos nor in my blog. They are not Fresh from the store but part of my Makeup collection which I have REDISCOVERED while shifting. I am almost about to finish this Plum Lip Balm from TBS. Here is the complete review!!

The Body Shop Born Lippy Plum Lip Balm is packaged as a Lipstick bullet with swivel up mechanism. Packaging is color coded as the plastic case holding the bullet is Deep Violet in color very much depicting the shade of the balm inside. The lid of the Balm is transparent , plastic lid with Chic Comical “wow” label and Deep plum accents. Packaging is decent travel friendly and color coded.In case if you have more than one of these Lip Balms you can pick shade of your mood easily.

The Body Shop Born Lippy Plum Lip Balm is Plum colored Lip balm which gives Deep pink tint to my slightly pigmented lip in two swipes. One of the reason I bought this Lip balm was the Plum shade. Mostly Lip Balms are Pink to Red Somewhere.  Born Lippy Plum Lip Balm  is  a unique shade which will suit all skin complexions and will show up on pigmented lips also. It has mild fragrance of berries and tastes sweet. I have to tell myself all the time not to lick my lips as this is really yummy.Fragrance lingers on for a while and is not overpowering.

It has soft balmy texture but not buttery soft so do not crumble on my lips. It is light weight and os an adequately hydrating formula. Once applied I can feel the hydration on my lips for up to 6 hours. I actually love to reapply it for the taste and fragrance. For long lasting hydration ,I wear it under my lipstick with same tones.

The Deep Pink Tint of TBS Born Lippy Plum Lip Balm is gorgeous enough to be worn on its own. In 2-3 swipes, It gives Deep Pink Natural Color on my Lips with a hint of shine.Alfter couple of Hours Shine disappears then the pigment . Hydration really lasts long.

PS: I usually prefer Lipstick Bullet/Stick packaging for my Lip Balms. This specific Born Lippy Lip Balm is also available for 275 INR which is cheaper than Stick Packaging( Buy Pot Packaging Here)

The Body Shop Born Lippy Plum Lip Balm  is one of the best Lip Balms I have ever used. This is one of my most used Lip balm after Baby Lips. On My Less or No Make up days I just wear this lip balm to keeps my lips moisturised  throughout the day. The deep plum shade manages to give veil of healthy pink color on pigmented Lips. The Packaging is sturdy and Balm Bullet has managed hottest of the temperatures without melting or crumbling. I am not sure if this can cure Chapped lips but It is a great product to avoid the same and maintaining well moisturized pout.It is a great routine wear shade for young girls/college going with slightly pigmented lips. It is without any SPF.
