The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Scrub Review

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Scrub is packaged in round, transparent ,plastic jar with metallic steel lid. Yesterday the jar toppled over in my shower basket, I hardly noticed any spillage. It did not even smear other bottles lying in the basket. Packaging is sturdy, easy to operate and travel safe. I can see the Gel Like light green body scrub with tiny green and white granules across the bottle. It looks so serene and magically beautiful in my Shower basket.

On screwing out, open the metallic steel lid and there lies the Gel based Body scrub tinted light green with dispersion of Tiny, Slight White and Dark green granules. It smells lime and citrusy. I loved the fragrance but it does not lingers long neither on me nor in my shower.

How I use It?

I tried applying this Body Scrub both on my Wet and Dry Skin. I found that this scrub gives better results with layer of water on skin i.e wet exfoliation. I massage it all over concentrating on my feet, elbows, back and hands.It does not lathers up like soap but feels minty cool on skin.  I rinse it off with normal water.

Body Scrub spreads easily and exfoliates gently. It is not an aggressive scrub rather a milder one. It does not lather either. Both the granules are well rounded and are non abrasive. On massaging the gel base gets absorbed while the granules do not dissolve and remain intact. It easily rinses out with water without leaving any residue or granules on me/in my shower sieve.

I have really Dry Body Skin. Being Gel based this Body Scrub does not do enough for moisturizing my skin. I have major build up due to dry skin . But this is not aggressive exfoliator.So I was not impressed much. I think it can be a great Body Scrub for Oily Skin Beauties and for summers. When used along in shower (without soap) It does not rip off natural oils from skin.

For my Dry Combination Skin, It does not do enough. I loved the fragrance so much I wish it should have worked for me. It can definitely be a great pick for Oily skin Girls. For Drier Skin I will label this as good summer Body Scrub. It has anti oxidant benefits of Green tea from Japan which cannot be negated though!!
